Fitt’s Law

Fitt's Law is a principle in user experience design that states that the time it takes to move to a target depends on the distance to the target and the size of the target. In other words, the larger and closer a target is, the easier it is to hit.

This law can be applied to a variety of design scenarios, such as button placement, cursor movement, and touch screen interfaces. For example, imagine you're designing a mobile app with a button for submitting a form. By making the button larger and placing it in a prominent and easy-to-reach location, you can make it easier for users to submit their information quickly and efficiently.

Another practical example of Fitt's Law in action is the size and placement of navigation links on a website. By making the clickable area of the links larger and placing them in easy-to-reach locations, you can make it easier for users to navigate your site and find the information they need quickly and easily.

Overall, by considering Fitt's Law in your designs, you can improve usability and make it easier for users to interact with your product or interface.
